A Message For You, From a Former Dental Hygiene Student, Now an RDH

A Message For You, From a Former Dental Hygiene Student, Now an RDH

Dear Future Dental Hygienists,

I wanted to start off by saying that “YOU GOT THIS!” I know that might sound very daunting at this time but I have the faith and confidence in you to say that “YOU CAN DO THIS!”  😇

I know exactly what it feels like to be sitting in the same position that you are in today. My journey began two years ago, the final obstacle of passing the NDHCB Exam was very overwhelming. 😔 This was a goal that I was very nervous about setting out to achieve. Unfortunately, all of my fears came true as I failed the board exam twice. I watched as my friends and fellow classmates became Dental Hygienists and moved on with their lives as they started their careers. 😓

It was a very difficult time for me because I felt that I was going nowhere in my career.

I started preparing for the third and final time that I would be taking the board exam. I knew that in order for me to pass the exam I would need to do something different to change my outcome. 🥺

I decided to enroll in the first-ever Student RDH Tutoring Program. 🧐 The program was founded by Claire and was taught by Amanda and Lisa. All three of them were extremely knowledgeable and made it very easy to reach out to them whenever I had a question or concern. I attended two classes each week and we went over topics that were crucial to the exam. In the beginning, I was nervous but Amanda and Lisa quickly made all of the classes a comfortable and welcoming place to learn. 🙂 My biggest appreciation for the program was how quickly Amanda was there to answer all of my email questions or concerns about various topics.

Respectively, Amanda and Lisa were the most encouraging and motivating instructors that I have ever had. 🙏

They had a way of teaching the information in a simple and fun way. 🙌 This really helped me retain the information that they had taught us. The program taught me how to break down the information and how to take the board exam the correct way. Unfortunately, this was a continuous problem for me during my previous two attempts at passing the exam. ☝️

Finally, after months of continued studying, implementing everything I learned from the StudentRDH Tutoring Program and the Student RDH courses I recently was successful in passing the board exam. I am extremely thankful to Claire, Amanda, and Lisa for all that they did and taught me throughout the programs. 🙌

I also enrolled in the StudentRDH courses. 👀 Claire took all of the textbook information and created courses that broke down the information in a manner that was easier to remember. The courses also provided numerous informational and instructional videos that were used to supplement all of the necessary material for being successful. 🧠 One of the many benefits of the courses was the memory techniques that you are taught throughout the program. I implemented all that I had learned in my studies and my confidence grew as I prepared for my third and final attempt at being successful in passing The NDHCB Exam.

Signing up for the program was the best decision that I could have made for myself and I am confident that you will also benefit from all it has to offer. 🥳

It’s all valuable information that I still remember even after my exam. I will be bringing all of these techniques and information that I learned and putting them into practice as I commence my newest journey as an RDH. 🤩

In conclusion, this brings me back to the beginning of my personal testimony. Never give up on yourself or your dream to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. It is definitely within your reach. I have all the confidence that,

I wish you the absolute best as you embark on your journey to becoming an RDH. 😎

See you soon in the RDH world,

Your future colleague. (Anonymous) 😉
